Quiet Friday Night In

If you're having a quiet night in tonight like I am, then you can come around to my house and we can watch a Movie! Yes I am formally inviting you.

So for Christmas I got a bunch of DVD's which was the perfect present for me and most guys. I have watched one of them and that being Mrs. Brown's Boy's. Which is an Irish comedy, some of you may not have heard of it in the mainland UK. The basic story line is Mrs. Brown (played by a man in woman's clothes) goes through her traditional housewife duties raising her now adult children and her father in law. Her youngest son Dermot is getting married soon and as she prepares to meet her future in-laws everything seems to go wrong.

If you haven't seen this series I can not recommend it enough to sit down and have a laugh with your mates. The dirty humour and bad language and live mishaps make the show incredibly enjoyable to watch. (Although I wouldn't recommend sitting watching with your parents, because it could get awkward in places) In saying that my parents love watching it, although it does get awkward when the topic of vibrators and similar topics come up. If you have watched Father Ted and loved it, then this series is if you like the newer alternative. The series has a huge quantity of memorable jokes, one of my favourites being:

               "You've met doctor Doolittle, now meet doctor do fuck all!"

I guarantee that you will love this series as much as fat kid love McDonalds.

As I am having a night in, with nothing more than 3 DVD's to chose from, a mountain of coursework due and an empty fridge. The DVD's that I have to chose from are:
The Hangover Part II,
Transformers 3,
The Inbetweeners Movie.

Smart Formal Outfit

In my last blog I posted about a casual outfit for new years eve. For you lucky people that are going somewhere a bit more up market and want to look your best then this is the perfect outfit for you! Grey suits have become extremely popular in the past few months, and most male actors and celeb's have been spotted in one. So here is my cheap alternative that won't break the bank!

So this suit from Burton is in the end of year sale, and won't stay around for long. All for under £70 which is a bargain. The suit is also tailored which simply means it fits better than a standard suit and is tighter around the buttocks area to give a better shape, but still makes it uncomfortable to sit down. The jacket is also tailored meaning it fits better around your waist and sides and doesn't just hang and look terrible.

This suit would look best with a simple white shirt as shown on the model. A matte grey tie or a black classic skinny tie would compliment this suit perfectly. You can just about get a black skinny tie in any high street store, this is one of the cheapest I could find online from a seller on amazon, the picture and link are below.

New Years Party!

So as 2012 draws nearer and the Christmas parties are coming to an end and we are sick looking at turkey, we now are preparing for the new year. Most of us will be heading out for new year's so it is important that we have the right outfit, right guys? That's where I will help I will show you a few items that won't break the budget that you can mix and match and you will also be in trend as these items will be big for springs fashion's so you can wear them again and again and still be in fashion, which is a pretty good investment.

The first look is perfect for a new year's night out in the town to a club or pub, what ever your choice. It is casual and will look great but is also versatile because you can dress it up with a smart jacket or dress it down with a casual hoodie. The whole outfit is around £100 which is quiet cheap considering you are getting an outfit that you can reuse and mix and match with other garments.
